Here at Latchets Boarding Kennels your dogs happiness and welfare is of the upmost importance to us,
the more you tell us about your dog the easier it is for us to care for their
individual needs making their stay more like home from home.
All dogs are constantly monitored to ensure they are clean, in good health and
happy.
The dogs are housed under cover in spacious individual kennels with an extended
outside run. They are taken out on leads in the fields for daily walks, we also
have a large enclosed exercise area equiped with agility equipment where they
can play off the lead.
We have various size kennels to accommodate one or more dogs from the same
household. In addition to the main kennel complex, we have a kennel unit
situated in a quiet area of the orchard away from the
main kennels where puppies and anxious dogs can acclimatise, please see pictures
opposite.
We are happy to accommodate bitches in season.
The kennels are heated during the winter months, all kennels are cleaned thoroughly daily and
disinfected to maintain a high level of cleanliness, all beds and bedding are
included.
We cater for a variety of diets, should you wish to provide their own food or
treats we will feed your dog according to your instructions.
Administering medication including injections can also be catered for based on
your dogs individual needs, veterinary care is available 7 days a week.
Prior to collection, you can have your dog bathed at a special price to our
boarders of £7.50 or you can have your dog clipped and groomed by our resident
groomer.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated. An up to date certificate must be provided on
arrival, Kennel Cough is highly recommended but not compulsory, however, should
you decide to have this vaccination, it must be done at least 10 days prior to
kennelling.
